Why does everybody nowadays think their kid's a fucking genius ? Yesterday im in publix, and most sundays during post-church hours, grocery stores around atlanta get pretty busy. This sunday was no exception. Every checkout line was long so instead of getting in the express lane with my three items, i just chose the shortest. BIG mistake. After this lady loads her hundreth item on the belt, she realizes she "forgot the cheese". So she sends her 5 year old daughter to fetch some shredded mozzarella. We ended up waiting 15 minutes for this kid to come back, holding up the line in the middle of the sunday rush, even though it would have been easier (and safer) for her to leave the kid and get it herself. But that wouldn't have been as cute. And why not ? Because mama's baby is special.
